If you are still in school, your education is more relevant to a recruiter than your work experience as most students have not yet worked much.
In that case, put your Education portion on top, right after your professional summary, and add the Work Experience underneath.
If you have acquired enough relevant work experience, you can switch the order.
How To Format Dates On Resume

I read a couple resumes recently that had unusual graduation dates. The dates listed detracted from the impression the resume made.
Six Years of High School
A candidate with a bachelors degree and 40+ year career listed his high school on his resume. With a bachelors degree, there is no need to list high school. This isnt a major problem though. The problem was range of dates. The high school listing had the dates 1961-1967, a six year time period. I dont know if this was a typo, if the school system considered high school to be 7th through 12th grades, if the candidate had repeated a couple years or if there was another explanation.
Including the dates raises a question that is meaningless. The candidates performance in high school more than forty years ago has nothing to do with their capability today. Additionally, including the range of dates makes no sense. It is generally assumed if you include a single date, it is the graduation date. Finally, many older workers report instances of age discrimination. Highlighting your age with a high school graduation date cant help your search, and may hurt it.
Super Fast Bachelors
Employment dates are a critical element of a resume, but graduation dates are optional. Unless you are a recent graduate, drop your graduation dates. They will offer little value.

Your anticipated graduation date can be written with a note that its expected or by simply as the date. For example, you can write Colby College or just Colby College, May 2022.
This information should all go into the Education section of your resume. Ideally, this information should be at the top of your resume. Once youve entered the workforce, it can be reordered and placed on the bottom of your resume, after your work experience.

How To List Completed Education
Recent Graduate If youve recently graduated, place your education section before or in line with your work experience. Your schooling is likely the most prominent piece of your resume, so it is acceptable to make this one of the first sections for employers to see. You can also include your attendance dates, any honors received and GPA if above 3.4. If you attended multiple schools, include the most prominent one where you were most involved. Heres an example:
