Qatar Airways resumed the connection to Canberra after adding an additional service to its Melbourne schedule.
Qatar Airways, Qatars state-owned flag carrier, is set to restart flights between Doha and the Australian capital city of Canberra.
Beginning on 1 October, Qatar Airways will resume a once-daily connection between Doha and Canberra, passing through Melbourne.
The flight will land at Melbourne airport for a small stop over and then fly on to Canberra. It will similarly depart from Melbourne for Doha.
Qatar Airways will resume the connection in Canberra after adding an additional service to its Melbourne schedule.
The flag carrier signed a strategic agreement with the state government of Victoria in Australia to increase connectivity to Melbourne.

The launch of the additional daily flight to Melbourne ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will allow more football fans travel to attend their respective matches.

Qatar Airways will resume services to its fifth destination in Saudi Arabia, Qassim, with three weekly flights starting August 22, which will increase to four weekly flights from September 2, 2022.
The airline will also introduce additional four weekly flights to Riyadh starting August 28, 2022, bringing the total to 20 weekly flights to meet the growing inbound and outbound travel demand.
Qatar Airways currently operates 93 weekly flights to four key cities in Saudi Arabia. The addition of Qassim and the four additional flights to Riyadh will increase the number of Qatar Airways weekly flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to 101 non-stop flights.
The resumption of services and enhanced capacity is part of the state-owned airlines ongoing efforts to expand its services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to provide greater choice and seamless connectivity to its passengers.

The national carrier of the State of Qatar will also launch two new destinations in December with one weekly flight to Luanda, Angola starting from December 14 and four weekly flights to San Francisco from December 15, 2020.

Qatar Airways has announced to resume flights to New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington Dulles in the US.
The national carrier of Qatar on Thursday said its commitment to the US market has not waivered throughout this unprecedented crisis.

Indigo Qatar Airways To Resume Codesharing
The carriers will also expand on their pre-pandemic codeshare partnership.
Indian LCC IndiGo and Qatar Airways are resuming codesharing on IndiGo flights following the easing of COVID-19 border restrictions by the Indian government.
The carriers had suspended the codeshare agreement at the outset of the pandemic in 2020. From April 25, Qatar Airways will resume placing its code on IndiGo flights from Doha to Mumbai , New Delhi and Hyderabad .
IndiGo restarted service to DOH earlier this month.
The codeshare accord will be expanded from May 9 when Qatar Airways code will be added to IndiGo flights from DOH to Indian cities Bengaluru , Chennai , Kochi and Kozhikode .
Under the codeshare pact, IndiGo does not place its code on Qatar Airways flights.
The reactivation of our strategic partnership with IndiGo is another milestone in the development of aviation between the state of Qatar and India, Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said in a statement. Together, both Qatar Airways and IndiGo will offer over 340 flights per week to 13 destinations in India.
