Ms Word Resume Template Is Breaking My Top Section Away From The Bottom Section As I Add Text

Hello, If someone could help, I’d appreciate your time.; I used the MS Word resume template: “Blue Grey Resume Template”.; It is breaking my top section away from the bottom section as I add text.; I did the HOME > SHOW FORMATTING to see if I could delete a hard page break.; I don’t see a hard page break.; There is a “content control” line symbol there but I’m afraid to delete it since it seems to dictate the level at which text begins.; I’ve never used a “content control” line symbol like that before.; It looks like the text below the line symbol is a two-column table.; I’ve searched in the HELP section and on internet, but I’m stumped and don’t know what to do.

I have a lot of info to add to this resume so that it will end up being a few pages long.; To make more room, I took that first line symbol and moved it up as high as I could to get as much text on a page as possible.; When I moved that line, it moved the photo and name up much higher, thus giving more space for more text below.; I have not inserted my photo yet, but I will.;

What do I do to keep it from pushing everything from under the photo and name to a new page.; I know how to insert or remove a manual or hard page break.; That does not seem to be helping.;

Orphan words are single words by themselves on a line of text. These will not only affect the appearance of your resume, but they will take up valuable line space, too. The solution to orphan words is to see if you can reword some items in the bullet point or sentence so that the orphan word moves back up to the line above it.
