Think about what the position calls for and what an ideal candidate might look like on paper. A creative resume can help distinguish you from the rest of the applicants. But if your approach isn’t appropriate, it might prove to be a detriment.
Like we said earlier, you wouldn’t show up to an interview in your pajamas. Your resume is similar. It should be dressed for the occasion and specifically tailored to it too. Visually showcase key content relevant to the position. Don’t distract with bells and whistles. Let your creative approach help your content shine in a strategic waynot in a superficial or irrelevant way.
